Welcome to Rob The Hair Viking! By booking an appointment, using our services, or visiting our salon, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before scheduling your appointment.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not book an appointment or use our services.
1. Appointment Booking & Scheduling
1.1 How to Book
Appointments can be scheduled through:

1.2 Appointment Confirmation
All appointments must be confirmed in advance. You will receive:
- Initial booking confirmation via text message or email
- Appointment reminder 24-48 hours before your scheduled time
- Final confirmation on the day of your appointment
1.3 Credit Card on File
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Your card will be kept on file and will only be charged in the event of:
- A no-show (failure to attend your scheduled appointment)
- Late cancellation (cancellation with less than 72 hours' notice)
- Payment for services rendered at the conclusion of your appointment (if you choose to pay by card)
Important: No deposits are required. Your credit card is held solely as security against no-shows and late cancellations.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
2.1 Cancellation Requirements
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must provide at least 72 hours (3 days) advance notice.

- In Person: Cancel at the salon during business hours
2.2 Late Cancellation Fee
If you cancel your appointment with less than 72 hours' notice, you will be charged:
- 30% of the booked service price
- This fee will be automatically charged to the credit card on file
- The late cancellation fee is non-refundable
2.3 No-Show Fee
If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior cancellation, you will be charged:
- 30% of the booked service price
- This fee will be automatically charged to the credit card on file
- The no-show fee is non-refundable
2.4 Emergency Situations
We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented medical emergencies, family emergencies, or severe weather conditions, late cancellation and no-show fees may be waived at the sole discretion of Rob The Hair Viking. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
2.5 Repeat Cancellations
Clients with a pattern of repeated late cancellations or no-shows may be required to prepay for future appointments or may be denied future booking privileges.
3. Late Arrival Policy
3.1 Punctuality Requirement
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. We allocate specific time slots for each client to ensure quality service and respect for all scheduled appointments.
3.2 Late Arrival Consequences
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment:
- Your appointment may be shortened to accommodate the next scheduled client
- Your appointment may be rescheduled to a later date
- You may forfeit your appointment entirely
- A 30% late cancellation fee may be charged if the appointment cannot be completed
Rob reserves the right to determine whether a late appointment can be accommodated based on the day's schedule.
3.3 Notification of Delays
If you know you will be running late, please call or text (719) 356-5667 immediately. While we cannot guarantee we can accommodate late arrivals, advance notice allows us to adjust the schedule when possible.
4. Service Pricing & Payment
4.1 Pricing Structure
All service prices listed on our website, booking system, or promotional materials are starting prices and may vary based on:
- Hair length, thickness, and density
- Complexity of the requested service
- Amount of product required
- Time required to complete the service
- Additional services requested during the appointment
- Color correction or repair work needed
4.2 Price Adjustments
Rob will inform you of any price adjustments before beginning your service. If the final price differs from the starting price listed, you will be notified and given the opportunity to:
- Proceed with the service at the adjusted price
- Modify the service to fit your budget
- Cancel the appointment without penalty (if notified before service begins)
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
- Cash
- Zelle
Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
4.4 Gratuity
Gratuity (tips) is not included in service prices and is always appreciated but never required. If you wish to leave a tip for exceptional service, you may do so via:
- Cash
- Credit/debit card
- Zelle
4.5 Service Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include:
- Complimentary adjustment or correction
- Consultation to discuss alternative solutions
- Partial refund in exceptional circumstances (at Rob's discretion)
Note: Corrections must be performed by Rob The Hair Viking. We cannot be responsible for corrections attempted at other salons.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 Health & Medical Disclosure
You are responsible for disclosing the following information before your appointment:
- Any known allergies to hair products, chemicals, or ingredients
- Current or recent use of hair treatments (relaxers, perms, keratin treatments, etc.)
- Medical conditions that may affect hair services (pregnancy, chemotherapy, scalp conditions, etc.)
- Medications that may affect hair texture, growth, or chemical processing
- Previous hair color or chemical treatments (including home color kits)
5.2 Patch Testing
For clients with sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions, we strongly recommend a patch test 24-48 hours before color services. While not mandatory, patch testing can help identify potential allergic reactions. Please request a patch test when booking if desired.
5.3 Minors (Under 18)
Services for clients under 18 years of age require:
- A parent or legal guardian must be present during the entire appointment
- Written consent from the parent/guardian before any chemical services (color, relaxers, perms, etc.)
- The parent/guardian must provide government-issued ID for verification
Rob reserves the right to refuse service to minors if parental consent is not provided or if the requested service is deemed inappropriate for the client's age.
5.4 Realistic Expectations
Hair services are an art, not an exact science. Results may vary based on:
- Your natural hair type, texture, and condition
- Previous chemical treatments or damage
- The difference between your current hair color and desired result
- Environmental factors (water quality, sun exposure, etc.)
Rob will provide a professional assessment and honest expectations during your consultation. Some desired results may require multiple sessions or may not be achievable without compromising hair health.
6. Salon Policies
6.1 Guest Policy
Guests accompanying clients:
- One guest per client is permitted in the salon space
- Children must be supervised at all times by the accompanying adult
- Guests should remain quiet and respectful to maintain a relaxing environment for all clients
- Rob reserves the right to ask guests to wait outside if they are disruptive
6.2 Photography & Portfolio Use
Before and after photos:
- Rob may request to take before and after photos of your hair for portfolio and marketing purposes
- Your permission will always be requested before photos are taken
- You have the right to decline to be photographed at any time
- Photos will only be used on Rob The Hair Viking's website, social media, and promotional materials
- Your face may be included or excluded from photos based on your preference
- If you consent to photography, you grant Rob The Hair Viking perpetual, royalty-free rights to use the images
If you wish to revoke photo consent after images have been taken, please contact us and we will remove them from future use (existing published materials may remain).
6.3 Cleanliness & Safety
We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation:
- All tools and equipment are sanitized between clients
- Disposable items are used when appropriate and discarded after single use
- We comply with all Colorado health and safety regulations
6.4 Salon Conduct
We strive to provide a welcoming, respectful environment for all clients. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask clients to leave if they:
- Are verbally abusive, threatening, or disrespectful to staff or other clients
- Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Engage in inappropriate behavior
- Violate salon policies repeatedly
7. Liability & Disclaimer
7.1 Limitation of Liability
Rob The Hair Viking provides professional hair services with the utmost care and expertise. However:
- We are not liable for allergic reactions if you did not disclose allergies or decline a recommended patch test
- We are not responsible for damage to previously compromised hair (e.g., over-processed, chemically damaged, or fragile hair)
- We are not liable for results that differ from inspiration photos due to differences in hair type, texture, or condition
- We are not responsible for hair loss or breakage that occurs as a result of undisclosed prior chemical treatments or home hair care practices
7.2 Color Services Disclaimer
Color correction and drastic color changes:
- May require multiple sessions to achieve desired results safely
- May not be achievable without compromising hair integrity
- Carry increased risk of damage to previously treated or fragile hair
- Results cannot be guaranteed to exactly match inspiration photos or previous color
Rob will provide an honest assessment of what is achievable during your consultation. Proceeding with services after this consultation indicates your acceptance of these limitations.
7.3 Personal Property
Rob The Hair Viking is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon. Please keep valuables secure and with you at all times.
8. Changes to Services & Appointments
8.1 Service Modifications
Rob reserves the right to:
- Modify or discontinue services at any time
- Refuse service if requested treatments would compromise hair health or safety
- Adjust appointment length if services take longer than anticipated
- Recommend alternative services if requested treatments are not advisable
8.2 Salon Closures
In the event of emergency closures, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances:
- You will be contacted as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment
- No cancellation fees will be charged for salon-initiated cancellations
- We will work with you to find the earliest available alternative appointment
9. Communication & Marketing Consent
9.1 SMS Appointment & Service Communications
By providing your phone number and submitting the booking form, you may receive recurring SMS messages from Rob The Hair Viking related to:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Service updates and salon announcements
- Follow-up communications related to your appointments
SMS consent is collected through an unchecked required checkbox on our website booking form and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies.
- Message & data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from text messages.
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
9.2 SMS Marketing Communications
If you opt in to receive marketing communications, you may receive recurring SMS messages including:
- Promotional offers and special discounts
- New service announcements
- Seasonal promotions and events

Rob The Hair Viking reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Material changes will be communicated via:

- Signage posted in the salon
Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rob The Hair Viking regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
